I'm a 29 year old girl who likes meeting people, loves science, music, art, animals, cycling and having lots of things to do (having fun!).

ABOUT ME

I was born in La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. When I was 5 years old my father decided to have a new life in Patagonia, so all the family went into a big adventure of moving to a new and unknown place. First, in 1995, we moved to Trelew, where I had lots of incredible experiences, interacting with nature, this means sea, whales, penguins, lots of outdoor activities. After 5 years, my dad found a better job, so, guess what? Yes! We moved again, but in this opportunity we went further south, the new location was Comodoro Rivadavia. This was july of 2000, and I was 12 years old, so…new school, new friends, new life! I think these are the things that made me such a sociable person. While living all my adolescence in this place, I found some great friends who are still with me; I had a rock band in which I was the drummer (big times), and finally, when I was 17, I decided to study Biotechnology in Buenos Aires. This was in 2007, when I moved (yes! Again!!), and start a new life by myself!! College days were awesome, many memories of afternoons studying, “mate”(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mate_(beverage)), nights out, awesome friends. In December of 2012 I finished my master in science, and start in 2013 a Ph.D in neuroscience. Since then I’m investigating about biological (circadian) rhythms with the fruit fly at a behavioral genetics lab, now in a post-doc position.
To add a few things, all weekends I go to train with a group of cycling, we do outdoor trips with mountain bikes. Also love photography, so I like to go to take pictures while walking in the city. In the evening free time I like to go see a good band and listen good music, or go to the cinema to watch a good movie; or maybe to or maybe go to a party with my friends.
I currently live in a loft apartment with my boyfriend Nahuel and my cat Isma, in the neighborhood of Villa Crespo, in the heart of Buenos Aires.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Many years ago my frind Elias told me about couchsurfing, he was hosting people, and encouraged me to do it. Now I'm really happy of being part of this world, meeting people from different parts of the wolrd. While in Europe I met a lot of really nice people, who made my trip an incredible experience, and I became very good friends of some of my girl hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As I said, I slept in different couches in Europe, and it was the best decision I made. These people not only opened the door of their homes, they were really friendly and helpful, making my trip an experience of another world. Now I'm wishing to have a new trip making new friends! Meanwhile I can host some new funny and nice people here in Buenos Aires :) Some of the girls who stayed with me while leaving alone, became very good friends of mine.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, rock, funk, jazz, soul. One of the things I enjoy most is going to music concerts, cause music is the language of my soul :D
Some international concerts I can't forget: Joss Stone, Maceo Parker, Paul McCartney, BB King, Foo Fighters, ZAZ, and maaaaaany others.

Love movies, specially Wes Anderson, Richard Linklater, Woody Allen.

I'm a huuge fan of Tolkien, I wish I could live in the Middle Earth!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to improve my english, and learn other languages like french. I can teach spanish, and a little bit of cooking :)
