Overview
About Me
My name is Anastasiia, my friends call me Nastia. I am from Russia. I was born in Volgograd but now I live in Pyatigorsk where I'm also studying at Pyatigorsk State University.
My love for travelling started when I was nine - I went on a multi-day biking trip. Since then every year with my family and friends we ride together to visit as many places as we can. I have already been in Belarussia, Finland, Germany and France - by train, steamboat, airplane and bicycle. We've spent many nights in many different places. We slept in hotels, tents and under the night sky. I’m very flexible in this regard.
In 2014 we went to the Olympics in Sochi. It was awesome! Now I`m looking forward to the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 and the Olympics in the South Korea.
I like to experience new things, new places and meet interesting people. I think that it's the best way to learn about our world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I came to States because I wanted to learn about different culture, taste new food, meet new friends and improve my English. I think that I achieved a lot of my goals but there is still a lot to find out and explore - I hope that maybe you can help me with that :)
Interests
My hobbies? As a child I took part in gymnastics, studied music and loved to draw. Now I dance, play tennis and badminton. In my free time I like to read, play board games with my friends and spend a lot of time outside. I love theater, museums and ZOO. My family always had animals at home so I don't any problems with their presence.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite book is "Pollyanna" by Eleanor H. Porter. I think that even if it is children's book everyone can find something for themselves in it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've decided to become a participant of “Camp America” programme and I started my work at Windridge Tennis & Sports Camp in Vermont where I met amazing people and learned a lot about myself.
