I`m from Ternopil, Ukraine, a beautiful town with a splendid lake. During my early university years, I lived in Lviv, Ukraine. I have been based in Madrid, Spain, since 2022.

During my studies, I lived in Romania, Germany, France, Poland, Estonia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary. Now, I am having trouble deciding whether Vienna or Berlin will be my next destination.

I am keen on traveling, and I try to visit at least two new countries per year. So far, it works really, really well :)

I can walk all day in a new city to see everything, and sometimes, during my travels, I forget to eat or to sleep.

As a social sciences researcher, I spend most of my days collecting and analyzing data, but deeply in my heart, I crave for a warm conversation and thus can offer you a cozy, friendly talk, share advice for the best places in Spain or wherever I`ve been and of course cook something yummy :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It`s an excellent opportunity to visit new places, meet new people, and discover foreign cultures and languages. I mainly travel solo, as I typically combine my participation in conferences with some valuable time for visiting places and people. As a person who has dedicated six years to learning how other countries work, I believe that talking with locals is the best way to understand the diversity we cherish.
