Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: my favorites so far: KONGOS (one love❤️ ), Dropkick Murphys, die Antwoord, Caravan Palace, Parov Stellar, Son Lux.

Classic rock, indie, alternative,, anything good, I don’t limit my preferences.

I listen to so much staff... Vladimir Vysotskiy, Rammstein, Sabaton, My chemical Romance, Queen, Rainbow, Pink Floyd, Pennywise, Led Zeppelin, AURORA, Florence and the Machine, Parov Stelar. All in all I am too lazy to finish the list. I am definitely a music-person.

BOOKS: No time to spend on books, I think, in terms of fiction I did all the reading as a child. Currently no time for entertainment, hardcore studying only (at least I try). However if I were to read something I would choose some memoirs, biographies, historical staff.

MOVIEEES: As for movies I would love any movie that calls forth strong emotions of all kinds. Tarantino's masterpieces are at the top of my movie list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Was about to miss a plane back home in a foreign country with no pocket money left and non-refundable ticket, but eventually I made it in time.

Went 25 miles away by bike before work shift and then struggled to come back and not get attacked by coyotes.

I saw a fox while biking. And stayed alive.
Just kidding, it is normal to see foxes in forests, they are not that scary unless it is rabid.

Discovered an old Jewish graveyard in the forest near my hometown. I felt like Lara Croft.

Survived School42 pool.

Teach, Learn, Share

First of all I can show you Kiev - the city I currently live in so don’t hesitate to contact me in case you want to meet up. If I have time I will be glad to give you a tour. I prefer walks and sightseeing, if you want to go to a nightclub I won't be able to join. I usually plan my activities in advance so I would be grateful if you contact me at least a week in advance.

Want to practice Russian or Ukrainian? Well, I can help you with both, even if it sounds like a lame offer. Also I would be glad to learn a little bit of your language.

I can advise on how to spend a great week in Tel-Aviv with minimum expenses, how to both see and not see the Great Canyon at the same time, where to go to feel Soviet Union is still alive and what to do in Ukraine if you happen to find yourself here.

I can share how to learn UNESCO-Constituiton or Vienna Convention 1969 by heart (thank you, alma-mater!). How to work, study, volunteer and survive with 3-hours sleep allowance in a day. Also I can help to learn C-basics in 3 weeks (based on my own experience :D, which might be interesting for someone who wants to start coding and doesn't know how. Or why).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Sweets from Ukraine. My experience and good mood. Funny stories. Not funny stories. Favorite songs and movies.
