Hi there=) I'm glad you're here reading this.
My name's is Anastasia, but my friends call me Asia. When I recognised that I have 'asian' style name, I decide I should visit all of the countries in Asia. I traveled to unbelievable beautiful Indonesian Islands (Bali, Gilies, Lombok),magic India (Gokarna, Varkala), picturesque Thailand (Phi-Phi, Phuket) until I stoped in Penang Island, Malaysia. I moved here in 2017. So, now I stay in Georgetown with my lovely husband Dmytro. He is an IT Engineer and most of the time he works.
I'm on freelance right now. I've got some students by Skype and teaching them primary school subjects like maths, language, literature and so on. But my new big passion is a life-coaching. I'm doing private Skype sessions as a planning facilitator.
At the moment we are not hosting anybody, but if you want to join us for hanging out - you're always welcome. It would be a big pleasure for me to show you some unique places of Penang Island or just to have a cup of tea at the cafe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like every human being most of all I like travelling. I remember it from my past, it's very unusual and uncomfortable to stay alone in the city where you don't know anybody. Couchsurfing for me is a possibility of companionship, first of all. I don't like to stay a long time in someone's place, I prefer a nice homestay or a hotel.

Music, Movies, and Books

On the hole, I like live sessions. Here, in Penang we have numbers of jazz-bands and soul-singers. Friday night is the best time on the island for visiting bars and cafes, if you're searching for such performances.
When I stay at home I definitely switch on jazz or chill-out music. Nothing surprising, but I love listen to music while cooking.
We have IMax 3D cinema not far from condominium, but we rarely watch movies. Dunno why... As for me, I'm not a cinema lover. May be, that's the reason)
Sounds boring, but usually I don't read the books. But if I've found a big interest inside and I want to get to the bottom of some topic, I read extremely a lot and you can't stop me)
