We are a young married couple with itchy feet. Constantly moving, living in different countries in search for something new. Basically both of us have a particular interest: we are doing research in Power Engineering (Victor) and Folklore (Nastya) and love to travel. We have travel blog, where we share our experience: http://ants-in-pants.com. We ask couchsurfers who request to stay with us to say something about our blog in your request. This is because we receive about 10 request a day and do not want to host those, who is too lazy even to read the first paragraph of their hosts' profile (which is, unfortunately, the majority).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because this is the best way to get the authentic knowledge about the world, not through Lonely Planet and the hotels it advertises (and the stereotype/colonial attitudes it imposes).
