I'm a graduate student at UC San Diego, and I enjoy doing things like reading, hiking, listening to music, and sunbathing at the beach. I have three younger siblings, and I'm the first in my family to go to college. I consider myself a pretty responsible and clean person. I'm an introvert, and don't like to stay at large social gatherings for very long. I do drink, and I don't smoke at all (the smell of smoke doesn't bother me though). I look forward to traveling more, meeting new people, and trying new things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm interested in doing more traveling, and I would like to meet new people along the way! A friend has used this site a lot and had great experiences in new places, and I'd like to try it out too.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is alternative rock and heavy metal. My favorite type of books to read are science fiction and fantasy. I love watching comedies, and I definitely enjoy good scary movies.

I think it's amazing that I'm the first in my family to go to college, and I'm on my way to getting a PhD!

Teach, Learn, Share

I like having a rough plan of what I'll do when I'm traveling (I like to leave some flexibility too) and I'm absolutely happy to include my host in creating those plans, if they are interested!

What I Can Share with Hosts

If we have any interests that align, I think it'd be great to hang out and do fun things together. I can share my knowledge and love of activities I've done a lot, and share my enthusiasm for things I haven't tried yet. And if my host doesn't have a lot of free time, I can be respectful of that and adventure out alone as well.
