About Me

My name is Ana. I'm from the south of Spain and I study Mathematics in Universidad de Granada. Last year I was studying in Gdansk (Poland) as an Erasmus and it was when I started couchsurfing and it was amazing.

Currently, I'm in Granada but not for so long, cause in my free time (summer, for instance) I'm used to travel a lot.

I love the beach and the mountain. One of the things that I like most is to meet my friends or family and go to a unusual place in the middle on the nature and just enjoy the views and the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Most of people think I'm in Couchsurfing because it is a cheap way of travelling, but that's only one small reason (of course, I'm a student and my budget is not that hight).

But the main reason why I'm in Couchsurfing is because my pasion is to travel and discover the world. Besides, I feel that for enjoying a trip most, I have to know some local people with whom I can learn about their culture and their experiences. Things tastes better when you share them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Spanish non-comercial music, but I also enjoy listening everything!!!

About films, I don't watch a lot because I prefer series like Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, How I met your mother, Black Mirror, etc.

My favourite book is A Thousand Splendid Suns, of Khaled Hosseini, but I love reading books about recient history, like the Spanish Civil War, the Second World War or the history of Latin America.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed the highest mountain in my country, I saw dolphins while I was doing scuba diving, I took a bath in the Baltic Sea in January and walked on the same sea in February (it was frozen :D) Also, I did an Interrail. Besides, now I'm living and experience that for me is the best desicion I've ever made: I'm doing Erasmus in Poland and I'm travelling a lot!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a few words in Spanish, and also I can cook Spanish typical dishes. And I'm shure that I can learn a lot from every person that I meet. Only with having a conversation and hearing you talking abour your way of life, it makes me feel happy and more open-minded.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Now, I can't host you in my house because I'm not in Spain and here I don't have space. But if you want a tourist guide, a partner with whom to take a beer or some advices about Tarifa or Granada (my two cities in Spain), you can contact me and I will be very pleasant about helping you!!
