Fun, friendly, and open minded guy who loves to travel and explore.
Co-owner of the «KipKam» hotel in Ukraine ( https://www.facebook.com/KipKamResort/ — the hotel is temporarily closed, because of the Ukraine Crisis. As soon as hard times will end for Ukraine my hotel will be open to couchsurfers from around the world ).

Since August 2014 I live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida USA.

Since 2013 I am working on my own project dedicated to the largest exhibitions in the world of electronics: CES Las Vegas, HKTDC Hong Kong, Canton Fair Guangzhou,
Huaqiangbei Shenzhen — largest electronics market in the world.

I was born and raised in Odessa ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Odessa ), a beautiful city on the shores of Black Sea in the south of Ukraine. In this city, I was educated and married. My wife's name is Anna and I often travel with my wife.

Most people don’t like flying. But Anna and I love to fly. Yes, we are that rare few that love to fly.

We are always amazed when we are standing on a site that we have learned about in school or read about in books. When we are exploring thousand year old ruins or walking through buildings that a great historical event took place in, we cannot believe that we are there. There is something special and meaningful about a place and its history when you are actually there. It makes us want to learn more about its story. We love finding the story of a place.

What I love about travel is discovering new kinds of food. I love the act of going out to eat and trying something new.
We just love food and eating out and trying new things and just really observing how other cultures prepare and eat their food. There’s nothing like street food and market food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I and my wife Anna — we are a very social couple and we love to chat with people. We have made some great friends traveling and some of our fondest memories of travel have been moments with the people that we met. Most people that we meet traveling are very interesting and fun. We just love meeting and making new friends in our travels and always look forward to seeing them again.

The most valuable thing in life is "the great experiences you have with people"! It does not matter what you have or where you have been. It is the people who make the memories.

In my opinion CS is about being open and welcoming, about giving, about sharing a story, finding a friends!
