About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn as much as I can and to improve as musician!
ABOUT ME
Half engineer-half musician, I work as a freelancer in the Marine Renewable Energy sector, spend most of my remaining free time playing or studying music and after 4 and something years studying, travelling and working around the world I decided to move back to my beloved Spain. I'm a cheerful, positive and very easy-going guy, definitely a beer-and-chat-guy, my biggest interests are probably to both listen and play music, to play sports (i get bored watching them), outdoor stuff and movies.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Until I'll find some place to stay I guess I'm doomed to only surf :D
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed a few times plus joined a couple of CS meetings and it has always been great!
Interests
I love the Ocean in all of his forms and ways, I love music and movies in general, i like pretty much every kind of sports (i surf, snowboard and longboard and play rugby), i like to hang out with friends in a bar or just to talk around a table with one (or five) glasses of wine, but I obviously won't say no to parties. I love eating and I like to cook, I decently play the guitar and, little bit the ukulele and the keyboard and I'm currently learning (actually struggling to learn is more correct) to sing, I love Nutella and sweeties. I love to discover new places and to travel and when I travel I love to get lost and discover places that don't belong to a guide book.
There are probably a few thousands other things, but I think I've already spoiled enough the surprise.

Music, Movies, and Books
BOOKS
I would probably say Jupiter's Travel by Ted Simon (if you like travels [and if you are reading here I guess you do] i really reccomend you to read it), then La Sombra del Viento (the shadow of the wind?) by Carlos Ruiz Zafón, High Society by Nick Hornby and Shantaram.
MUSIC
Beside the old good ones from the 60s/80s ( Eric Clapton, CCR, Guns n' Roses, Clash, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bowie, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, Dire Straits and Knopfler alone, Bob Dylan ecc..) I would say something like indie/alternative rock/folk about modern groups like Mumford & Sons, Noah and The Whale, Radical Face, Johnny Flynn, Beirut, Manu Chao, Laura Marling, , Alt-J, The XX, Damien Rice. I also love Manel.
MOVIES
Beside the famous clichés I would say Gran Torino, The Big Wednesday, Invictus, The Snatch (and the others Guy Ritchie's movies), Blood Diamond, and Animation movies (such as UP, WALL-E, How to train your Dragon and most of Myazaki's ones). Other directors that I like a lot are Wes Anderson, Ken Loach and Nolan with some exeptions.
And I am ashamed to admit that sometimes I like also all the american-justspecialeffect-action movies, but i can't help it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Australia. Nothing else is needed, I left there a piece of my heart.
Also, once I counted up to one hundred without stopping. I know, pretty hardcore.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my travel stories, my incredibly poor singing skills and my decent guitar skills. Plus a bit of italian culinaire culture. And beer. Definetely beer.
On the other hand I'd like to listen to other stories and get to know whatever somebody wants to tell me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Beside what said above many hugs and other cheesy things!
