Hello!

My name is Anca and I am from Romania. I am currently in my final year at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom studying Law and Criminology. I am about to graduate and as probably every grad out there I don't quite know what to do with my life as an adult haha. However, something is clear to me and that is my wish to travel and see the world.

I love meeting new people and learn about their culture and that is one of the reasons I chose to come to the UK for my degree. This experience has definitely enriched my life, opening my eyes and encouraging me to want to explore more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My best friend (and currently housemate) and I are going on a trip to Portugal in June to celebrate our graduation. We don't know anyone in Portugal and we thought it would be nice to get to meet people and explore places together or at least getting a bit of guidance of the best places around.

I have won an award for the 'Sporting Champion of the Year 2015/2016' for my dedication to sport during my time at uni.
