Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm just enthusiastic about meeting people and having a good experience. I'd sometimes like to travel alone, so its much nicer to hang out with a local and automatically have some company at the destination. Plus its always nicer when a local shows you around ... they know the best places and coolest stories. And from another perspective: I guess when you can't travel, the closest you can get is by hosting wandering nomads :)
Update: I'm currently traveling around SE Asia. I have been here for 3 months with my boyfriend but now he went home so I'm even more keen to couch surf rather than stay in hostels :)
