Went to Santorini, Greece when I finished college and fell in love with it, moved there too soon, then fell out of love with it, then missed it when I saw other people in love with it, so, like any other dysfunctional relationship, bought a ticket to go and get it back.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I`ve had this account for quite a while, ever since a friend told me about CS. However, due to my busy schedule (yey for seasonal jobs) and living accommodation I haven`t yet hosted. Will be starting this summer.

Interests

I could spend all day playing video games. (Xbox over PS, but I will take PS, seriously, someone send me a PS!).
First game I seriously played on my run down Pentium II P. C. was Age of Empires II. Would still play.
Nowadays I prefer FIFA, Assasin's Creed, Mortal Kombat and all of the LEGO superhero ones .

Guilty pleasures include Comic book film and series adaptations and the Harry Potter universe.

I watch a lot of series: Game of Thrones, Bored to Death, Scrubs, Curb your Enthusiasm, Trailer Park Boys, Black Mirror, Westworld to mention a few.

Fun fact: My brother is a Tenor, and everyone in my family worked different jobs at The Opera Theatre in my hometown so I practically grew up there. I enjoy it very much and my favourite Opera is Tosca by Giaccomo Puccini who also happens to be my favourite composer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently obsessed with Haruki Murakami's books. I also enjoy Bukowski, Kafka, Nabokov, Edgar A. Poe, Tolkien and quite often moody poetry. P S: Paulo Coelho is rubbish and so is Osho's spiritual lifestyle coaching.

Love discovering new music. To list a few, I like Nick Cave, Johnny Cash, Mississippi Blues, Soul, Jazz, Indie and Alternative, Sade Adu, Erykah Badu, Akua Naru and the Nightstorms playlist on Spotify to go to sleep (nothing beats the sound of rain and thunder).

I absolutely love movies and very often go to the cinema, even by myself. A few of my favourite films would be Goodfellas, 2001: A Space Odysee , Annie Hall, Barfly, The Darjeeling Limited, The Fall, A Clockwork Orange, Leon the Professional, Trainspotting, Pulp Fiction, Closer, Reservoir Dogs, Natural Born Killers etc etc. w
While I'm in awe with the likes of Tarkovsky or Kubrick you must know that I am a huuuge Lord of The Rings fan.
