About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Getting work, children, house and hobbies to fit in my schedule... :P
ABOUT ME
I live with two of my four children.
They are 16 & 17 years old.
We live in an area with a lot of cultures mixed, and I love it!
I sing, read, play computer games and love to learn. :)
PHILOSOPHY
My motto is: You've got to be a little crazy if you don't want to get boring!
I am a christian, but I have a curiosity about other religions. I like to compare those things that are the same. We are all human and not so different, no matter where we come from. I also belive that in helping others you help yourself becoming a better person! =)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now we don't have much space to offer as we are living in a small flat in Nyköping.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have now had several surfers on my couch. Me and the kids really enjoy it and learns new things from every surfer that visits us! :)
Also I realised that some of the surfers we stay in touch with just because they are so nice! :D
Interests
I sing, listen to music, read a lot. I like jigsaw puzzles and crosswords and playing cards or boardgames with my children or whoever wants to play! I can cook but I don't really enjoy it and I'd rather eat!
I also enjoy computergames and vidoegames! Zelda is my hero! ;)
My husband is a sportsfreak as well as his sons.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love musicals! Cats, Chess, Phantom of the Opera, Grease...
And I really enjoy reading books! All kinds of books. Biographs, Fantasy, SciFi, Crimestories, Childrens books... Almost everything!
When it comes to music I have just a few categories of music I can't listen to. Too heavy metal is hard for me. It's just noise! But except that I think I listen to almost everything! Iron Maiden, Christina Aguilera and David Bowie are some of my favourites!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I worked with an autistic boy for a year. When we started out he could barely walk. When I moved away he ran!!! THAT's amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about autism and autistic people. I also am very much into exchanging languages! If you teach me your language, I'll teach you swedish. Or some swedish history. I could tell you a little about the vikings or the stoneage here in Sweden and show you a few places that are very very old!
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Denmark, Germany, Greece, United Kingdom
Countries I’ve Lived In
Sweden
