ABOUT ME

Me and I... Curious person, sometimes crazy, sometimes too rational, very sociable and communicative and at the same time loving being on my own. Fighting with myself every moment.
As for my current occupation, I have graduated this Summer (and I'm sooo much happy about it!) and now I work as an auditor in Saint Petersburg. I'm a fan of this city so I always glad when I have an opportunity to show it to someone who is new here.
But my love to my city doesn't eliminate love for travelling, that's why I'm here!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Until now I participated only by meeting CS'ers for chatting or showing them around, taking part in differenct events etc.
Also I met up and with other CSers while I was traveling in France. We shared nice time together!
But I wish to surf and host as soon as I have such an opportunity.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I meet up with surfers show them my favourite city - Saint Petersburg =)
I must say that it's very absorbing as such an intercultural exchange with travellers gives me quite a lot of new impressions and useful experience. And after all, I like this as one more opportunity to improve my language skills.

Interests

It's hard to name everything, but still here is the list: travelling (not surprisingly =), dancing (I fond of dancing hustle and watching many other dances, also wish to learn WCS), handcrafting (cross stitching, sewing, knitting and all that sort of activities), photo (without editing pics in programs like photoshop), reading, meeting my friends, cooking, learning foreign languages (I fond of French language and I dream to speak it at least not worse than English)
My professional interests lie in the sphere of finance, accounting, audit, economy, econometrics. But frankly speaking, I think that if I had such an opportunity, I would have preferred housholding =)

Movies: I like old soviet films (Dog's Heart, Burned by The Sun, Office Rromance, Moscow Does not Believe in Tears, Autumn Marathone, Garage) and good modern Russian and foreign films that make you think (Island, The Lost Impire, etc.).

Music:
Classic music, Elton John, Robbie Williams, Gregory Lemarchal, Joe Dassin and many others

Books:
These are my favourites: M. Bulgakov, Prosper Mérimée, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. But I also like many other writers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To watch growth of a plant from ceed to a tree. I have planted lemons and grapefruit in this way. The most exciting is to find one day the first leaf of the plant over the ground. =)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm dreaming to learn French so every opportunity of language exchange (Russian, English) is highly welcome!

Teaching... Everything about Russia (its' culture, language, cuisine, tips for travellers etc.)

As for "sharing", I wish to improve my dancing skills and can give you some basic tips on it. Also I'm searching for a hustle partner, so probably here is anyone (male) who doesn't have a pair for dancing? =)
