Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

Inspired by meeting people at hostels all around San Francisco and Chicago, I realised that there are an insane number of people that love to travel and are free-spirited in enjoying experiences together. I was first attracted to Couchsurfer as I thought it's just a free room as you travel on a budget - but having been to countless hangouts, I realise it's so much more! What a community :)

Looking forward to hopefully staying with some hosts as I travel through Europe over the summer, and hosting wanderers when I'm back :)

Since my 5 month trip to LA, I’ve also started to appreciate Hip Hop and enjoy Kendrick, Migos, etc.

Movies: I watch almost anything, too - preference for action and thriller. Some of my favourites are The Imitation Game, Zootopia (English), Zindagi Na Milegi Dubara (Bollywood).

Favourite show currently is suits. Also watch Brooklyn 99, Orange is the new Black, Designated Survivor, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy

Books: Usually fiction; murder mysteries by Sidney Sheldon and Jeffrey Archer. Like to read non fiction by the likes of Malcolm Gladwell.

- Engage in deep, somewhat meaninful, yet meaningless, conversations about life
- Share more about growing up as a 3rd culture kid: living in India (8 years), Malaysia (7 years) and Singapore (10 years)
- Laugh over interesting stories. My favourite way is for one person to randomly pick a place of travel, or a phase of time, and probe the other person to share a fond memory from then
- Teach them basic to intermediate Texas Hold 'Em Poker. Not to become addicted to gambling, but as a mind sport! It can be really interesting :D
- A cold beer or a glass of whisky!
