ABOUT ME

I was born grew up on the West coast of Scotland on The Isle of Skye. I know the Highlands of Scotland very well.
I have travelled extensively in my lifetime and have recently visited Thailand for the second time.
I am very easy going and enjoy talking with my guests a lot (When our languages make it possible). I speak Scottish Gaelic as well as English uk..not American as I have noticed on another part of my profile.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat and respect others as I would have them treat me, no matter what culture,colour or creed..this philosophy has served me very well indeed.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to help my guests as much as I can possibly do in any way that makes their stay with me comfortable and memorable; also I will,if asked to, discuss and explain/ provide local knowledge and steer them away from potential travel problems whether they are 'Hitch hiking', driving, or using Public Transport.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never used CSing myself. My job took me all over the world and was in no way connected with Tourism or the Holiday Tour Industry
During my visits to Countries world wide before the days of the Internet being such a world shrinker I was shown so much kindness and Hospitality everywhere I visited I now want to do the same for anyone who finds themselves in my area of Scotlaand or intends to visit it at any time.

My interest are varied and tend to be of a relaxing nature which goes hand in hand with my easy going attitude.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

WOW ! from the Aurora Borealis to the Aurora Australis and soooo much in between would take too much time and space, but I am sure we can share all that sometime if you wish when you visit me.
