ABOUT ME

Well, where do I start.

I spent a year in Korea teaching English.
I spent a month in Thailand and what I thought was going to be my dream trip... but it didn't turn out that way... but I truly believe everything happens for a reason and am thank-ful for all the things in my life.. and now I am back to Canada.

I haven't left in 4 years and am finally going on a road trip across North America ending up on Vancouver island to meet my biological father.for.the very first time.

I think it will be amazing to couch surf across America and Canada and really get to know the country and the amazing people that occupy our land :)

In the end I may end up staying on Vancouver Island.. but life is an open book.

I'm an adventurer. I'm the kind of person that left high school for a year to move to Japan. I love experiencing new things, new sights, new adventures and new cultures. I studied International Development and nursing in Uni and want to get more involved with that as I travel.
I'm really outgoing and talk alot, although I can be a really great listener.
My favorite things to do are to watch sunsets, and dance in thunderstorms... so travelling is an ideal occupation for me!
I believe in the true kindness of people, and love this site for demonstrating that it still exists and that people are inherantly good, and want to help their fellow person.
I'm bubbly and usually always have a smile on my face.
I have a dream to set foot in every country in the world before I die.. so most likely, at one point, I will find myself in your neck o' the woods (that's my small town Canadian talk coming out:P

PHILOSOPHY

I trully belive in that everything happens for a reason. The when you let things be they will naturally work out in your favor, even if its not what you necessarily expect the outcome to be.

I haven't had much experience with CS yet. I stayed at a cool host in Nara Japan. I hope that I will be able to use this site to meet local people in.a few of the cities we would like to visit where we don't know anyone.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-jumped off the gorge at Vic falls on the gorge swing.
-Paraglided in Korea
-Rode an Elephant in Thailand
-Had a brief moment with the Dalai Lama in Toronto
watched the most amazing thunderstorm in Thailand
-Milked cows in France
-Rode a scooter through the gorge in taiwan
-watched the sunset and rise in japan on New Years 1999/2000
-Climbed Mt. Fuji
-Kayaked a mangrove swamp in Malaysia
-watched death come over someone I love, and wasn't scared.
-made a difference in someone's life.
-Seen complete strangers help eachother out without any expectations of getting anything for themselves, just cause they could.

I want to share:
