Born in New Hampshire, USA in 1987. My mother a half-Norwegian, half-English science teacher. Her father a rugged outdoorsman. My father a northern European nuclear engineer from the navy. His mother a poet and children's book author. At a young age, I was insatiably curious and a quick learner. I had to keep up with my older brother of two years. I was raised Pentecostal /Protestant in Maryland and then Connecticut. When I was in high school, my younger brother was born with cerebral palsy and muscle dystonia. These disabilities prevented him from walking or holding complex conversations.

I studied business at the University of Connecticut on scholarship. I took a detour for a semester to study healing and prophecy at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City. I returned to college and did a study abroad program called Semester at Sea. In 2008, I got my first taste of travel, circumnavigating the globe by cruise ship via 13 countries. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in Management Information Systems with a 3.9 GPA.

After trying to find work in silicon valley California during the 'great recession' I ended up at a web development internship in Boston. This led to my career in digital advertising, search engine marketing, SEO, AdWords. The share house I lived in hosted couchsurfers, which was my first exposure to this community. I came out as gay. Moved to Manly Beach, Sydney Australia in 2011 to be in a warm beach city. Fell in love. continued to travel to South America, Europe, Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands. I worked at various technology startups. One IPO'd on the Australian Stock Exchange. Then I took a corporate job at an Australian company that then got bought by an American company. Began weightlifting. Went to Burning Man and now go every year. Took a couple vipassana meditation classes. Learned to electric unicycle. Got a moldavite necklace. Found out I'm a Taurus with a lot of Gemini. Started doing acrylic pouring. Became an Australian citizen in 2018.

I recently began traveling solo. I burnt out backpacking and am now in New Orleans for the rest of 2019. I hope to start a digital nomad / location independent business around wellness and longevity. Message me if any of this resonates.
