Overview
About Me
I grew up in northern Denmark, had a stint in the army with a tour to Iraq (the Basrah area) for six months, went to university in Aalborg to get a computer engineering degree and PhD. For about 18 months during my studies, I lived in San Diego, visiting University of California.
Then I quit university and rode from Denmark through Africa to Cape Town on motorcycles with my wife (check out our blog at http://acrux.dk/language/en). Now I work with industrial painting robots.
When I'm not doing geeky stuff, I do rock climbing (except we don't have any rocks in Denmark, so I train in our gym and go travelling to find rocks), I walk slacklines, play board games, ride my unicycle, am a volunteer lighting technician at concerts. I enjoy a good beer or three from time to time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Fight Club, Into the Wild. I like many movies and I watch quite a few.
Music: A little bit of everything, though mainly rock (think Foo Fighters), singer-song writers (think Jack Johnson), and chill electronic music (think Moby and Groove Armada). Being the geek that I am, see the full stats here: http://www.last.fm/user/and_moe
Books: I used to read a lot, but unfortuantely not too much anymore. My all-time favorite is Orwell's 1984.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Rode a motorcycle from Denmark to Cape Town. 22000 kilometers, 22 countries.
Teach, Learn, Share
The longest word in the Danish language (according to Guinness Book of Records) is speciallægepraksisplanlægningsstabiliseringsperiode. 52 letters. I won't attempt to translate it here, but you can ask me when we meet.
