ABOUT ME

Dani:
Trying to make this a cleaner world, one litre of water at a time.

I belong to the SGI Ottawa, and Ive been practicing this buddhism for 4 years.

Ale:
I am a Buddhist so an increasing part of my life is spent trying to find wisdom and happiness for me and for those around me.

I love photography, music, movies and comps.

I am bored by normal people and dressing up

When I grow up I want to be a ninja. Or a travelling photographer.

PHILOSOPHY

We are both Buddhists.

Ale: Both a religion and a philosophy of life, I found it to be exactly what I´ve always felt like about life: we all have the power to change our lives, to be happy, to make the wisest choices. We all have an infinite wisdom inside us but we have to let it emerge. It is both a challenge and a relief to understand that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ale stayed at San Francisco with missgiovanna, and it was an excellent experience. She takes excellent pictures and knows exactly where to get cheap but great burritos! Pretty interesting roommates too.

We had Patrick from Canada at our place in Caracas, he's a really cool guy, he tasted sushi for the first time there. Not a very venezuelan dish but what the heck.

Ale also visited Patrick on Hamilton, stayed at his host's place (thanks to them for the great place and the excellent company) and got to travel with him to Toronto.

We also received him at ottawa. Didn't surf with us but at least I got to see him, had a good laugh. Oh, and he helped dani work on his resume... i owe you so much for that man!

We also stayed at Robin Lobb's place, an excellent guy with very interesting info on many aspects.

We received a super cool couple from montreal: Mathieu and Dagmara. They were awesome guests, even left a couple yummy gifts :D

Since then, we've received close to 10 guests, all of which have been really positive experiences...

Lehren, lernen, teilen

We love talking about buddhism, weve read quite a bit on that topic. I guess we could also teach a thing or two on cooking, computers, artificial intelligence and salsa.

Im always eager to learn on a lot of subjects, including but not limited to music, literature, international cuisine, dreams, an so many more!
