Hello! I am a new traveller hoping to learn from the world :)
Having managed a restaurant for the last two years since leaving university (where I studied music journalism and broadcasting) I am looking for the Japanese adventure of a lifetime. I dream of creating videos about people's places, cultures, philosophys and history while also helping wherever and whenever I can.

I am very eco-concious and love nature, animals and the environment.
I landed in Tokyo on 25/06/19 and am looking to do volunteer stays and plenty of exploring and hiking around the country 😊

Fell in love with Hip Hop (Horrorshow, Brother Ali, Hopsin, Eminem, Scroobius Pip), Pop-Punk/Metalcore (Four Year Strong, A Day To Remember) and singer songwriters (Dermot Kennedy, JP Cooper, Newton Faulkner) but my tastes are almost boundless...

Struggle to find time to read as an adult but I compensate by listening to A LOT of philosophy, news, politics, history, discussion podcasts!

Got a black belt in Karate OR cycled from Lands End to Glasgow in 10 days with no training, no appropriate clothing/preparation and in late February/early March weather...

I am a capable cook and can help around the house in general. I am good with photography and video production if that's something anyone wants or needs. Most importantly I'm very keen to have in depth conversations and mutual learning experiences about culture, history, philosophy, religion etc 😊

Cleaning and tidying, my passion for the deeper questions in life or if you’re up for it a session of karaoke ;)
I’m also very good at being quiet, keeping to myself and staying out of the way if things are quite busy but ideally I’d like to chat, share and learn x
