Overview
About Me
Well it's 2019 and I haven't been involved in couchsurfing in almost a decade. Everything below is what I wrote back in 2010. I like to think much of it still applies:
CURRENT MISSION
To push the boundaries of my comfort zone by meeting interesting people, having new experiences, and exploring different cultures.
ABOUT ME
I'm addicted to traveling. Actually, I think I'm addicted to new and novel experiences, and traveling is one of the best ways to guarantee exciting experiences. I have done quite a bit of traveling in the past (India, Nepal,Central and South America, a bit of Western Europe), and I am currently in the beginning phase of a trip around the world. I love meeting people and I hope that Couchsurfing will be a great way to share my stories, listen to others' stories, and get a bit of local perspective on the places I visit.
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy? I'm not entirely sure, but a big part of it is constant self reflection and an openmindedness to realize when my personal philosophy needs to change.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I took advantage of couchsurfing as a guest a TON in 2010-11 when I was solo traveling around Asia. Now I live in San Francisco, I finally have my own place, and I'm super excited to be able to finally give back to this amazing community.
Interests
Meeting people, seeing new places, good friends, good food, good beer. I love travel, especially for the way that travelers tend to skip the small talk and move right into deeper, more meaningful conversations.
There are so many interesting people out there, I want to meet them all.
