As far as I can remember, I have always been hooked into theater. It all begun at the post-school drama classes (when I was in 2. or 3. grade). In my high school, our class was specialized in theater, so we had about 7 drama classes each week. Plus rehearsals.

After graduating, I started leading a youth drama group at my old school. And I've done that since.

My job is also very creative - I'm a web solutions project manager and an programmer. Mostly in PHP, but have done bits and bytes in other languages also.

At university, I'm studying mechatronics. One of my dreams is to build a robot mouse, like the one used in Nolan's Cheddar commercial ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqlQS5CCmwI ). I just need to learn how to do it.

I have a wonderful girlfriend and two lovely kids - daughter born in 2012 and son born in 2015.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When visiting other countries, I always try to meet up with locals. After all, this is their home and conversations and walks with locals are far more inspiring than the stories you can read on traveler's guides.

Also, if you are visiting Estonia, feel free to contact me. I can't promise I always have spare time, but I'll do my best.

Interests

I like using public transportation and therefore have time to read a lot. And this (usually) is time well spent. I read all kinds of books (you can't say you don't like something before you haven't tried it), but my favorites are science fiction (Asimov, Clarke etc) and classical crime stories (E.S. Gardner, Agatha Christie). But I also do enjoy classics, Harry Potter novels, Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy trilogy etc...

I have been running since autumn of 2015. Before that, I was rather lazy. As of today, I have ran 2 marathons, some half marathons and a bunch of smaller distances. So maybe we can go jogging together?

Music, Movies, and Books

I have already talked about books.

Movies are a difficult subject, because I have seen far to few of them. I prefer reading books, although movies have their own magic. Just to name one - Donnie Darko.

My taste in music varies, but "rock" or "metal" sums it up pretty well. Although there are exceptions. And quite few of them. Some of my favorite groups and artists include Sabaton, Heather Dale, Valravn, Sonata Arctica, Nightwish, E Nomine, Nightwish, Pink Floyd, Eloy...
