PHILOSOPHY

Working on it... Ask me when I'm 60. For now maybe it's: "Do it!" But actually I'm a pretty pragmatic person, so my philosophy depend a lot on the situation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had some really nice hosts in India, Israel, Palestine and Colombia. Haven't hosted anybody myself yet. Looking forward :-)

Interests

Live music gets my blood flowing.
I like to go and get fresh groceries, prepare and cook a good meal and eat it together.
I enjoy talking with people, getting to understand us and the world better over a cup of tea.
I travel, whenever I can afford it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am very open minded when it comes to music! World music I like a lot, especially Latin American. La salsa, la cumbia, el reggaeton, ska. In the morning I prefer plain reggae or jazz to get the day going in a steady rhythm. I like also rock and instrumental scandinavian folkmusic. Live music!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The son of my sister looks just like her. That's really amazing :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love language and can teach a little bit.
I dance with swings/cariocas with and without fire - a kind of juggling.
I teach health visitors (specially educated nurses) and public school teachers educational tricks on how to teach young people about sexual and reproductive health.

I would like to practice my spanish, have discussions about medicine, health and international development, learn how to cook new dishes.
