I'm in between jobs and currently working in a temporary position at UPS (package delivery service).

After having lost first my girlfriend and then my job in a matter of months, I've decided to take a brake from my life in Denmark and travel to Italy with my bike. I'm currently enrolled in Italian class and from February 10th to 14th I will attend an Italian course at Lucca Italian School. Hence, I'm looking for host there for that period..

I love "the international" all though that can be defined in many ways. For me it implies meeting new people from all over the world - learning and sharing from each other as well as establishing contacts and friends.

I hosted a lovely couple from California as they were traveling through Europe. I got in touch with them through my local church and all though it went really fast it was great to host them for one night. They saved money otherwise used for accommodation and food and I now have someone to visit and be hosted by there! Above all, my philosophy is that a stranger simply is a friend you haven't met yet.

I haven't been active on Couchsurfing for some years as I instead have hosted through a platform called 'Warm Showers'. That it essentially Couchsurfing for people riding their bikes on a longer trip and looking for a host (and a meal) for the night.

I like various music. Don't know too much about genres, so I'll stick to mentioning bands instead. I've seen Coldplay perform live twice and then Red Hot Chilli Peppers when they played in Denmark. I guess they're quiet far from each other :-) Bands I'm currently listening to: Mumford & Sons, Mighty Oaks and a small but upcoming pop/folk band from Denmark named Northern Assembly. Studying one semester at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas!

Doing endurance sports since 2010. That has brought me many challenges and memories I'm fond of, particularly through the sport of Triathlon. I raced Triathlons quiet intense from 2010 to 2014, but have cut back on that to focus more on other things including my studies. However, on May 22nd 2016, I completed the Copenhagen Marathon in a time of 2.53.55.
