About Me
ABOUT ME
29 years old, finished my studies and after some travelling I am now doing my PhD as an engineer.
PHILOSOPHY
In my opinion you live to die.
So dying is not meant in a negative but in an absolute way. Thinking of it like that, I just want to see and experience as many things as possible - at the end your new doesn't help you at all.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really like travelling a lot, but travelling alone is not the kind of experience I enjoy. To find kind company and get to know some local's live, couchsearfing is perfect. Getting to know cities with tips from you guys is the best way to discover foreign cultures.
I am a guy who likes laughing and being in the outside. I am looking forward to getting to know you and the city you live in.
Interests
I really like doing sports. I enjoy playing all kinds of sports with a ball, such as soccer, tennis and basketball. I am snowboarding in the wintertimes, windsurfing and sailing in the summertimes. But the sport I fell in love with is Ultimate Frisbee!
Except of doing sports I like to hang around with my friends, doing crazy and funny things. Being spontaneous and enjoying the time.

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh. Music. You got me on that. I forgot to tell you in my interests: I absolutely love music. If you want to ask what music I am listening to, I wouldn't be able to say it. I listen to good music, music that I like. That means I can hear a good song of System of a Down, right after that Daft Punk, Donovan Frankenreiter or N*E*R*D. So that is a tough question.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing countryside I've ever seen was the Grand Canyon at sunset.
And the most awesome thing I've participated in is the European Chsmpinships of Beach Ultimate. What an awesome experience!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd really like to know how other people spend their spare time. How they live and what they do. So it is mostly on a cultural base. But, wait, I'd love to try doing some welding! Yeah!
Except from the cultural and linguistical things I could show people how to throw a frisbee further than across your backyard. If you had snow and a mountain in your backyard I'd even show you how fast you can get with a snowboard or mountainbike. But I'll guess the one who have a mountain in their "backyard" won't need any tips for that kind of sports...
