Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To foster a network of reliable and good people (while at the same time realizing that that sounds really boring).
ABOUT ME
I am married and live a life migrating between North America (both US and Canada) and Italy, where my wife is from. I have an adventurous spirit, but not in a conventional way. I like to jump in water whenever I see it (as long as it's not too polluted). I like hilly places with lots of lakes and trees. I love to read.
PHILOSOPHY
It is the presence of a thing, not its absence, that must be justified.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I skied alone for four months across a Canadian winter, from the Pacific to central Manitoba, in 2012-13. See my website if this is the sort of thing that interests you: www.bigski.org.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have traveled a lot but do not consider myself a traveler in any conventional way. I think this gives unique perspective. I can speak Italian very well and German quite well. If I had to add two languages to that list they would be Norwegian and French.
