ABOUT ME

Others have described me as focused, hard working and social. I prefer to describe myself as curious, energetic and thoughtful. I think a lot about what one should do in this world. We live in a complex structure, based on a many misinterpretations and false believes that only benefits a small part of the population. A structure where equality is non-present and where education is just accessible to a minority of the world. This objective keeps my mind very busy: How do we achieve and balance wealth distribution; both economic and intellectual.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Primarily because I like to look into the window of other peoples lives. It helps to develop my compassion and understanding for people, their life and their culture - no matter where they are from or what kind of background they have.

I feel very honoured to be invited into someone's life.

Interests

If it is considered an interest to meet people, I truly have that as my main interest. I enjoy meeting people, to peek into their life, their routines and to see what makes their heart skip a beat occasionally.

I enjoy educating myself and to teach others about topics I have studied. I also spend time reading and working on small and big projects (they vary a lot but I am currently into programming, solar panels and electronics in general). Could also be music or art.

Most recently I made a small collection of coconut candle holders that made me feel very proud.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've slept on the floating islands on the worlds highest lake, Lake Titicaca.

I ran to France (from Geneva;-)).

I occasionally breakdance even though most people think I am pretty uptight lawyer.

Traveling through Central America by bus - truly amazing experience :).

Attending a good friends wedding in Pakistan.

Stand Up Paddling the entire "Göta Kanal" in Sweden.

Teach, Learn, Share

During my travels I have realized that I really enjoy to motivate and give confidence to people, in order for them to pursue their dreams. The happiness of reading an e-mail from someone that finally dared to try out their idea due to our conversations is just the most amazing thing.
