About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To visit every MLB stadium.
ABOUT ME
I'm the definition of easy-going. I don't sweat the small stuff and I find the positive in any scenario. Those who know me best remember me for my smile and my laugh.
PHILOSOPHY
Treat others the way you wish to be treated.
Does it make you money or does it make you happy? If not, it doesn't matter.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just joined the community, so my introduction to it will be as a surfer.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've always enjoyed meeting new people and seeing new places so I'm excited to blend both passions through CouchSurfing.
Interests
As you might deduce from my mission, I'm a baseball enthusiast. I'm a fan of most sports, but baseball was my first love. I also enjoy live music, reading, running, hiking and living an overall healthy lifestyle. Having said that last part, I love a good beer and by "good" I don't mean your generic domestic beer you can get for $1 on the right night at the bar. I wouldn't say I'm a beer snob, though, either.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste is somewhat traditional. Anything rock or blues, so The Black Keys are at the top of my list as far as current bands go. At the same time, I'm not afraid to venture into othe genres like hip hop, psychadelic and even classical. I should also mention The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana and Queens of the Stone Age are on my Mount Rushmore of bands.
As for films, Snatch is my all-time favorite overall, Dumb & Dumber is my favorite comedy, and anything by the Coen Brothers (No County, Fargo, Big Lebowski) or Tarrantino (Pulp Fiction, Inglorious Bastards) is also at the top of my list. And to say I'm stoked about The Dark Knight Rises would be an understatement.
Finally, in regard to books, I enjoy reading about sports and Civil War history.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've already visited 12 MLB ballparks but now I want to knock out the remaining 18 in one road trip.
Teach, Learn, Share
Even at 26 I've tried a couple careers so I have some life experiences to share. As a product of the Midwest, maybe I have a unique perspective on life to offer people on the coasts.
At the same time, I'm looking for a new career, so any networking I could do would be beneficial to say the least. Most of all, though, I just want to meet interesting people and hear what stories they may have to tell.
