ABOUT ME
We live in the central area of Rio de Janeiro, I am a professor of computer science and educational robotics, my wife Accountant, like to travel with your family and meet new people and cultures. We are volunteers in exchange institutions (AFS and AIESEC). We host family for 11 months of a German girl (AFS) and 40 days of an American girl (AIESEC). In September we will receive for three weeks one Belgian girl. We are passionate about Rio and Brazil, we like to take our guests on our trips, to present them not only the sights but also to participate in our daily life, life in the suburbs, in meetings and celebrations with our family. We want to awaken in our children the desire to be global citizens, to teach our culture and learn about others, get along well with the other. We studied German in order to live for some time in Germany and we can more closely experience such a rich culture and be able to be so close to many others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When we think of traveling, we want much more than see the sights . We want to learn about the culture, the lives of residents and gastronomy. When we got someone in our house , we also believe that these things are interesting for the guests , so we believe that the CS provides something more than save money. Being able to be in a house with a resident / family adds to the experience much more than a ride.
