About Me

Hi!

My name is Anderson, I was borned and raised in a city called Fortaleza, in the state of Ceara, which is located in the Northeast of Brazil. I'm an Environmental Engineer and I currently work at the water and wastewater utility of my state. I'm also pursuing the title of Masters in Civil Engineering, with focus on Environmental Sanitation, and, in parallel, the title of Specialist in Water, Environmental and Energy Resources Management.

As part of my graduation program, I got the chance to participate in an exchange program at Michigan State University - USA (from 2013 to 2014), which was the first time I travelled abroad and the most adventurous time in my life!!! It was also when I found out about Couchsurfing, which gave me the chance to interact with locals in a bunch of places I travelled to in the States, besides saving me quite a lot of dollars.

Even before getting to know Couchsurfing, I also got the chance to host a few exchange students who were going to the university I studied at, so cultural shock has always been a thing I really enjoyed.

Anyways, I consider myself a very easygoing guy, with a great facility to make really good friends and to adapt myself to any situation I might have to face. I'm not picky at all and I'm very open to knew experiences, especially when it comes to trying local food and attending to traditional events. My friends know they can always count on me because I'll do my best to help them and make things the most comfortable for them as possible!

Some things I really enjoy doing, especially on my free time, are: hanging out with my friends, talking to my family, playing volleyball, swimming, going to the gym, going for a jog at the beach, planning a trip and learning new curiosities.

I really look forward to getting to know new people, either at your country or mine!

See you soon!!!
