About Me
English and Portuguese teacher.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Is there a better, wiser and cheaper way to travel? I don't think so!
I think traveling should be more than just going around sightseeing and taking pictures. It is an awesome opportunity to meet new people, cultures and to form community. It is all about sharing experiences after all. One can learn so much from traveling I wish it was more accessible to more people, and Couchsurfing seems to be a good way to make it happen.
Interests
What excites me the most is trying to end all fucked up things in the world. But I also like to go hiking, cycling, being around nature. But I must say I'm not in my best shape to do so (I get tired after a couple of hours).
Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite kind of music depends a lot on my mood, what I am doing, and who I am with. Though, I'd say I can enjoy most (not all) kinds of music. Oh! I really enjoy singing karaoke.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- I traveled for 53 days around the cold USA during the Winter of 2015. The amazing part of it was that I did not have to pay for any kind of accomodation in any of the 22 cities I visited. It was a great experience being a traveler, and a guest in so many different houses meeting amazing people, and doing so many random stuff with my hosts.
Teach, Learn, Share
Let's share experiences! This is the best way to teach and learn from each other. I am willing to show and learn from you how beautiful and diverse the world can be.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good conversation over a cup of coffee or some beers.
