ABOUT ME

I really like the outdoors - hiking, kayaking, traveling, basically anything that makes you be outside.
I am a seasonal Park Ranger with the National Park Service, and I love it. I've worked at the Indiana Dunes, Devils Postpile, Glen Canyon, Yellowstone, and best of all, Death Valley.

When I studied abroad I stayed with a lot of great people in a few countries.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I studied abroad in Germany I met and stayed with so many great people. I even hosted a few times, but since I never have a place more then 6 months, it is hard for me to pay it forward. I'd certainly repay the favor, though!

Interests

I love kayaking, hiking, backcountry driving, canoeing, exploring, camping... etc.
I love to travel, but I have done about 90% in the USA. I have been to 48/50 states and intend to hit them all.
Going to National Parks is about my favorite thing to do. Cities are usually not my thing, but sometimes it's not where you are, but who you're with.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've climbed mountains, lived in the hottest place on Earth, stared at ancient rock art, walked the halls of countless european cathedrals, and witnessed more beauty than one can bear.
