My current day job is as an Associate Warden's secretary at the California Health Care Facility (a state prison for prisoners with ongoing medical needs). I am also a Natural Healing coach who helps people take more control over their health, partly by learning about their natural treatment options, and partly by working on their mindset, emotional/spiritual health, and limiting beliefs.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm considering doing it during future trips (especially to Utah), and I also anticipate in the future being able to accomodate other lady couchsurfers when my living situation changes.

Intereses

So many... science, resource management, religions of all sorts (respectful exchanges of information, not trying to convert anybody, but sharing beliefs non-confrontationally, discussing one's own or another person's or group's beliefs). Health and natural healing methods is one of my favorite topics. There are many good things to be said about different diets - vegan, paleo, raw, sugar-free, phytate-free (I've tried them all)... not so much Atkins, though - refuse to try it - I know what too much animal fat does to my health in a VERY short space of time. So sick, so quick, so wrong... don't do that no mo.

I also often enjoy listening to an expert talk about their favorite subject. Doesn't always have to be an interest I share - just the fact of seeing someone light up, and all knowledge bears value, although I might not be able to listen too long if the subject is too far from my grasp.
