我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I absolutely love traveling!! I started traveling out of country when I was 17 and I just cannot get enough! When I travel, I want to experience more than just the tourist attractions. I want to live the culture. I want to wear the shoes of a local and really get in touch with the country I am visiting. I love meeting people all across the world, for I know there is so much I can learn from others. CS gives me that chance to travel and build relationships with people who are different than I. I have not yet begun to CS as I have just joined this site but I am very much looking forward to it!

You could describe me as being a little old fashion. My favorite type of music is classical, oldies like Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong, Doris Day, Elvis. Throw in a little bit of Michael Jackson and some 90's pop and that pretty much sums up my music taste.
I love all genres of movies. I am a huge movie fan! My island five would have to be It's A Wonderful Life, Pride and Prejudice, Gentleman Prefer Blonds, The Mummy, Gladiator.
I also LOVE to read!! Reading is a form of travel that doesn't require you to even leave your bed.

This is a work in progress as there are so many things I want to do!

To date the most amazing thing I have done is climbed the Pacaya volcano in Guatemala where I sat and watched as it spewed out small amounts of lava into the air.

My love for life :) I am very positive and I take life everyday as a blessing. Each day your heart is beating is a good day. I feel like life is truly simple and that people tend to complicate the process. We are to enjoy the little things and find love and appreciation in anything that comes our way.
