About Me

A good friend of mine once described me as "the most extroverted introvert" she knows. Basically, sort of a shy and held back person at first, yet quite active and open minded at times. My favorite saying is "its not the activity, but the company that matters most".
Apart from being fascinated with computers, software/game development and hardware prototyping, I also really enjoy movies and animations (especially, but not exclusively Japanese ones), winter sports and all sorts of games.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the concept and think of it as an excellent opportunity to meet new awesome people. I do tend to travel a lot to visit friends and family or even on business.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
- A bit of everything. I like rock, neoclassic, instrumental (specially with piano and violin), and songs of movies I watched / games I played. But I'll listen to almost anything really. To be more concrete, some examples I play often: The Strokes, Beatles, Green Day, Ori and the Blind Forest OST, Ludovico Einaudi, Red hot Chilly Peppers and so on...

Movies:
- Mostly action thrillers (I really enjoy the Marvel series) and animations (Disney, DreamWorks, Pixar and of course, Studio Ghibli). Top Movies: Mononoke Hime, American Beauty, Treasure Planet...

Books:
- I'm not much of a reader (a book a year is a lot for me already). But currently I'm into Norse Mythology. Also really enjoyed reading the "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" in the past.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I Tried opening a game-dev startup with some university friends. We never even got close to releasing a game, but it was an awesome experience.
