At the moment, I am studying Secondary Education to become a teacher for English and P.E. later on.

I am a communicative and active person who likes to get to know new people and build new friendships.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I like to get to know people from all over.

Currently, I am doing my exchange year in the US and this way got in touch with people from so many different cultures and backgrounds which was truly enriching and an absolutely unique experience.

Via Couchsurfing I would like to get to know more people from various other countries and get an insight into their culture.

I believe Couchsurfing is the perfect platform for this exchange!

Intereses

I am a really active person who loves the outdoors.

In my free time I mostly spend time hiking, climbing or swimming...in winter I am also a big fan of skiing and snowboarding.

Another hobby of mine is Mountainbiking which I did on a regular basis back in Germany.

Música, películas y libros

The Wombats as well as the Kooks are both great bands I'm a big fan of. I simply love Indie Rock but am always curious to get to know other music genres, too. Every now and then, I try to check out new tracks using the Spotify Explore Application. :)

Algo increíble que he hecho

Every time I visited one of USA's National Parks I was truly amazed and enamored by the natural beauty of those places. Thus, I am always keen to see new places and scenery.

For instance a few years back, I went on a hiking trip through Zion National Park, Utah together with eight other friends of mine. We had such a great time camping and enjoying the views... that is why, I simply won't forget this experience anymore.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

The past semester I signed up for a basic Spanish class which was very enjoyable. Ever since I'd really like to improve my language skills in this foreign language and become better.

Back at school I also had four years of French which was great fun to learn. However, over the years it seemed to become a little rusty and I got out of practice, so I would certainly need to brush up my knowledge. :)

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Having already lived in two foregin countries (UK & USA) for a year each I am very interested in new cultures and familiar with becoming accustomed to the common traditions, habits and customs. I see living abroad as an absolutely brillant opportunity to broaden one's horizon and becoming more aware of the huge variety of different lifestyles, cultures, etc. which is a phenomenal and exciting experience. Generally, I simply like the idea of diving into exciting new cultures.
