ABOUT ME
Hello!!
I'm a student who is at a turning point in her life and need to get out a little of her country. I'm very sociable, laughing all the time, a little lunatics and I'm sadly known to make the most stories with no punch-lines, working on that full-time...
I feel like time is going by so fast and there is so much to see, taste, smell and hear! I want to get out a little of my comfort zone and learn to travel on my own. Being a girl, I've heard it all about what can go wrong but I feel that this is somthing I'd really like to try for a change. Anyway I won't be alone, I'll make all new friends with CS, can't wait to meet you guys!
PHILOSOPHY
Vive le moment present!!!!
I'm all about creating a network around the world. With the new technologies it seems like China is at the tip of my finger and it amazes me every time! I want to meet people, know about their culture, how they lived, what they like, everything! Im curious and easily fascinated. I try to find the good side of most of situations because 30% of what happen to you is the actual event and 70% is how you deal with it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been in the CS community but since it was a 2 persons profile I decided to switch it to a single person profile beacause my friend won't be joining me this time around. I'm super open to show travelers my lovely town of Montreal and all the hot spots that I appreciate. Everyone can find something to love here. While I'm traveling and hopelly doing some CS, I bring a lot of joy to a house and I'm truly respectful of other persons privacy, I can only imagine the trust you have to have in other travelers to open your house to them. I am so grateful to all of them! Thank you so much!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I traveled with one of my best friend in Lithuania, Germany and London during the summer of 2008. We couchsurfed in Lithuania with the most easy-going, fun and open-minded guys, Tadas, Vidas and Justinas. They showed us around the town and really made us feel welcome. We couldn't be more thrilled about the whole CS experience. We then went to Berlin where we stayed with Veit (im sorry for the orthograph of the name, I just remeber it by sound) and his 2 roomates who were delightful. He took his hosting job very seriously and gave us so many useful tips and facts about Berlin! We went to Heidelberg where it was also super respectful and we could totally trust our couchsurfing host, Diana. In brief, all of my CS experience have been wonderful and I'm still recommending this way of traveling to my friends, I believe it's the best to know a city then by meeting the people who live in it. I've been warned so many times that it was dangerous and all, but those people I've never tried CS, I trusted my guts and I have met the most unbelievably nice people.
Interests
I love books of philosophy, action, romance, poems..I'm a big fan of photography too since I have taken a class to develop your own pictures in a dark room! Wouhou! I since then bought a 35mm camera, I'm thinking about giving her a name since it's definitely gonna be my new best friend on travel! I'm very sociable and I love to meet new people. They have so many stories to tell

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big fan of Romain Gary at the moment. I listen to pretty much every type of music, specially soundtrack of various movies like Juno, I am Sam or from the TV hit show Gossip Girl. As of movies, Titanic is an old classic ;) but more recently I fell in love with the movie Babine, an authentical movie from Quebec.
Books: Millenium (1,2,3), Les cerfs-volants, Everything from Anna Gavalda, Les yeux jaunes du crocodile, everything from Emmanuel Schmidt
Movies: Vicky Christina Barcelona, Y tu mama tambien, la mala educacion, Run Lola Run, La vita e bella, Love actually
Music: The Gossip, David Bowie, Beck, sooo many, I really love to know what people are listening too, there are a million undiscovered groups, I can spend hours on myspace music unfortunately most of them dont have a CD out yet
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've walked the moon a couple of times, but it has become quite usual to me, so I was thinking France, Belgium and Netherlands would be a nice change for this summer
Teach, Learn, Share
Wow, what could I teach? I can show some signed langage, always useful in a crowded bar with loud music (it has been tested!!!)
