ABOUT ME

Hey, I am Andia from Cologne/Berlin and very happy having been fortunate to spent my last year of medical school between Europe, Australia and Africa! Also, I discovered that you really do not need a lot, gave away most of my stuff and switched living places quite this past year to do lots of travel, working abroad and discovering more cultures than assembling stuff I do not need. Going out of your comfort zone is pretty much the best advice I could ask for.

Recently spent two months in Quito, Ecuador and a week in New York on my way back to Berlin. Now heading down to Bavaria :) With the official couchsurfing site I have been only to DC, Leipzig Melbourne and Luzern, but I do a lot of private couchsurfing if there is a friend of a friend of a friend who needs or has a couch somewhere;)

It is a very personal way to get to know a city or country. You'll meet directly people living there and hence, a sense of how it feels like to live there, rather than just staying at some anonymous place.

Just finished up with "The Tale of the duelling neurosurgeons", Science meets excellent and funny story telling, but I'll basically read everything just slightly appealing.

Teach: I can teach you German, of course! The language isn't too easy to learn but with a native speaker it will be more fun and successful! Also, as my family is from Iran it would be a pleasure to teach you some Farsi.

Learn: I would love to improve my French and Spanish skills..I am also happy to learn something new such to get to know where to get the best coffee in town ! Or to learn to play a new instrument, sing a song, read a new book - whatever there is to discover!
