ABOUT ME

I think I'm a very funny and open minded guy. My brother and my sister both have the down syndrom (trisomy 21). Amongst others that`s one reason why I had contact to disabled people for allmost my whole life. In my home town I play in a band for disabled grown-ups. In 2008/2009 I was doing a social service in Harding, South Africa. I was working in a Special School for children with disabilities.

I love music and I play many instruments. I started practising the piano for more than 10 years. After that I played keyboard in my first band, than I started learning the drums. During the last years I made music with many, many people and made lots of interesting experiences. I played Rock, Pop, Heavy Metal, Hip-Hop, Ska, Reggae, Jazz and also Free Improvised Music . When I was 16 years old, I got a job in our church playing the organ. That helped me a lot in reading notes. Since I was young I started to compose my own songs.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offer a couch for any travelers, because I`m sure it`s a nice experience and helps a lot to make our big world a bit smaller.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a few very nice persons during my trip from South Africa to Ethiopia in 2009/2010. I hosted in South Africa, but never in Germany. I think thats because no one wants to come to Krefeld! ;) But actually we have beautiful places nearby. And the city is just 20min from Düsseldorf and 40min from Cologne.
