ABOUT ME

I'm pretty cool I guess? I am not much for small talk but once I'm passed that I love a good conversation. I am and pretty open minded person and love to hear about all sorts of things. You can pretty much judge my mood by whether or not I'm singing/humming/whistling that day or not. I more or less live my life with a soundtrack. My job can be quite sedentary at times and I try and make up for it by doing active things whenever I can. I can't stand people with closed minds. I can get bored quickly, or utterly focused depending on how interested a thing makes me. I sometimes say and do absurd, nonsensical, or silly things just to break up the gravitas that life seems to demand of us at times. I'm blessed with a family that can afford to travel and have been doing so since I was a child. But there are still so many places to go I am hoping couchsurfing will open new worlds and new people to me. Ever hear the song "Universal Traveler" by Air? That's what I aspire to.

PHILOSOPHY

Mahatma Ghandi said "Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony." That's what I want, everyday, every moment.

Singing and music, technology, astronomy... actually I could go on but it might be a shorter list to talk about what I am not interested in:

country music, washing machines, unicycles, reality tv, lima beans, douchebags.

Music: Radiohead, Gorillaz, Danger Mouse ... I like a little everything. I even have some japanese modern jazz in my collection, weird? I know.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

New Years in Rio, BEST FIREWORKS EVER! Saw Lions and Hyenas fight over a kill on safari, ran on the track in the ORIGINAL Olympic Stadium in Greece. Chased by stampede of Zebras, ate Ostrich, walked on black and red sand beach. Some other pretty cool stuff, but those are long stories.
