About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"Life at in all its fullness for every child" - right now I am visiting World Vision in Sambia and I'm inspired by their v/mission...
ABOUT ME
My name is Andreas although my friends just call me Andi. I am a student working on my PhD and I just recently moved from Augsburg to Hildesheim. I regularly take the train to Freiburg to visit my girlfriend. I am the oldest of three and enjoy beeing with my family. I liked Southern Africa since the first second and I came back several times. After my studies I would like to go into international development cooperation to combine work and interest. Concerning my character I'd say I am rather calm and relaxed, I can adapt pretty good, I like joking and have a good sense of humour.
PHILOSOPHY
Treat others the way you want to be treated.

Music, Movies, and Books
Concerning music this is usually the time when I say anything, as long as its not mainstream. However, to be a bit more precise I enjoy reggae, drum'n bass, some electronic, some acoustic, as well as Indi.
Bookwise I very much like South African Fiction.
Movies, well, definitely Tarantino and the last Cohen Brothers' (True Grit) was also great.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was allowed to fly a plane for a few minutes, which was my childhood dream. I also went to a ZANU/PF rally in Zimbabwe, which was rather stupid, since I totally lost control over the situation. Mount Mulanje is also very amazing to see... Studying in Cape Town was amazing as well.
Teach, Learn, Share
Is this the space to put in the "don't eat yellow snow" joke? Well, I enjoy talking about a rather broad vaiety of topics, but I don't know if this is really knowledge or rather interest...
