About Me

CURRENT MISSION

...

ABOUT ME

I LOVE hosting lots of people because of the energy it brings to the house, especially when it is filled with all different types, genders, ages, straight mixed with gay e.t.c.

I love having international feast at our long low table while sittiing on cushions. We have had Polish night, Russian night, Indian night, New Zealand, Trinidad...

I take a lot of pride in where I live and making it a warm, inviting house. I don't value having my own personal space too highly. Our place has small bedrooms with a huge living area in which we spend most of our time.

I am queer. I am sort of vegetarian - my policy is not to create demand, so if its gonna get thrown out then I'll eat it!

PHILOSOPHY

I aim to give back to the world more than I take. This is no easy feat and by no means do I claim to have worked out how to do this yet!

I've got some ideas how to, and they start closer to home...

I consider myself a very rational person. I don't believe in fate or that some things are 'meant to be'. I find it more empowering to believe that its up to us to shape our own destiny.

Interests

I always seem to have some creative project on to fill up my spare time, be it making furniture, kinetic-art, comedy-dance, sewing...

If you're wondering what that machine is in my photo, it is a contraption that I made: Creme That Egg!

I love to go out. I love cooking, especially for other people.

I tend to prefer non-fiction books but there's nothing like a good fiction!

I love Rube Goldberg machines. Why? Because I love the combination of the completely ridiculous with logical precision.

I love watching films that are totally unpredictable, that ask more questions than they answer and leave me feeling uneasy!
