ABOUT ME
Some friends recently told me that I should be thinking about settling down but I don't know if this really is the right thing to do. Shouldn't I try to discover as many new places and try to find new connections as much as I can, while I still have the means to do it? I think, David has summarized the underlying issue way better than I'll ever be able to: http://bit.ly/1sQXqgy
I'm currently doing my PhD in Munich, and, thankfully, this can often be combined with traveling at least a bit around the globe, and meeting new people! Maybe you? :)
I'm also offering my couch from time to time here in Munich, so just write me if you are interested! We are living in a shared flat, but both my flatmates are often away for longer periods and that means that sometimes I can even have a room for hosting guests.
Interests
Just about anything*. I'm really into discovering new things, so you'll find me switch very fast from topic to topic. There are a few things though that I gladly return to, such as some film/books/music of Woody Allen/Murakami/Daft Punk, but this is by no means an exhaustive list. During summertime, it's quite rare you'll find me in front of a motion picture.
* but sitcoms. It's the fake laughter I don't really like. Ah, and, there is some kind of Chinese gelatine-infused shark soup that I think I'd skip the next time it is offered to me ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Puuh.. it's really difficult to point out single events.. I'd guess it can be anything, from discovering a Zen Garden on a rooftop in some posh club in Beijing, to eating Croissants watching the sun rise near Ferrara, to simply enjoying great music here in Munich :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I always contrasted my studies with physical activity, and I'm quite involved in movement and acrobatics for quite a while now. Ever tried a Barrel Roll? http://bit.ly/2hemAHJ :)
