Hey! My name is Andrae, but pretty much everyone calls me Ted. I was studying social sciences and working, but I stopped to stop to see if living in Spain is for me :) So excited!

My best friend says that I am like a rare endangered bird species 😁 Less imaginative friends would describe me as a pretty funny, social thinking dude that is a great listener. Sometimes they find me too passionate (what??) Mature for my age but at the same time the complete opposite lel.

I get along with all kinds of different, even "difficult" people. And still: I love sarcasm, so I am most comfortable with people that are not super sensitive but of course if you dont like it as much, thats also okay.

Other than that, you will probably enjoy my company, as I'm optimistic, yet realistic with my views which often inspires people to see alternatives and grow! Always looking for new chances to make the world a better place, in small as in large.

I am an Internationalist and believe that us Humans together could do remarkable things if we all function as gears of change!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to create a network of friends all around the world, hopefully for life.

I also love meeting all kinds of people and the stories and views they share.

Couchsurfing gives you a very organic vibe of the city. I am curious about really experiencing and learning more about the places I visit together with locals that really know the place. When you simply visit the place in a cityhopping/sightseeing manner, you don't really get immersed into it.

I think Couchsurfing is an amazing way to combine all that!

Interests

Right now my mission is to grow and use the talents I have for the greater good. While doing that, I want to connect and party.

I love discussions about literally everything, but I enjoy heavy conversations about meaningful stuff the most. I am especially interested in sociopolitical topics and philosophy and international issues+solutions. I love writing about these topics and other stuff as well.

Other than that I have a very good meme taste, and like singing whatever whenever. Am really looking to finally record myself and do something with my voice. I also love Improv, acting, Philanthropy, (random) dancing and self improvement

Music, Movies, and Books

I would say Studio Ghibli Movies are intriguing and somehow magical to me. Otherwise I do not watch a lot of stuff. And regarding reading: I read from a lot of different sources (articles etc.) instead of books.

My music taste is pretty diverse, but if I had to choose I'd take Techno for dancing, Opera to feel and Punk for the mindset

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My roadtrip to france! Made the hopefully life changing decisions there to go to spain and the atmosphere with my friends was just beautiful. Haven't been that happy in a long time, so much in fact I cried.

Going to KitKat Club in Berlin, lets say it was different!😂

Another very cool thing was having our own varieté show, where we did improv, acting and sang together. First time on a real stage and people enjoyed it

Also tipsy bathing in winter! ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I think I got plenty of experience with different kinds of struggles and would love to share the ideas and solutions I developed over the years. I have a practical and realistic idea how to change the society we live in which I would love to share and hopefully get you on board.

One of my goals in life is to become wise, for that I'll gladly share but also receive your points of view
