People tend to say I smile a lot. yes, I do, most of the time, also while exploring myself. :)
I like honesty and straightforwardness, do pay attention to details while also enjoy relaxing and taking my time when doing things...and I often find spontaneous and crazy ideas best.
That's all I know about myself. ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

There was a time when I hosted many-many travellers in my hometown Budapest. I was involved quite a lot in CS (hosting) until about three years ago. I used go to some CS parties as well as meetings, though not too often.
I used to travel a lot (mainly before my CS times).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I liked all my guests...each surfer has been great so far. Amazing people, and so much fun!
Surfed only a few times until now: had superb times then as well.

Also before CS times, several friends enjoyed staying over at my place in Budapest (or elsewhere).

Interests

Life: cultures, languages, people.
I love to spend time with Music and Sports (mostly tennis: playing, umpiring, organizing, watching etc., but also indoor football, hiking or skiing).
It's so great to get to know a bit deeper the people I meet. I am into good conversations as well as enjoying music together very much.
It is so much fun to experience the unusual!
It is good to spend time in nature.
Changes of environs and perspective can be very enriching. But I like to be on my own as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: too many to list - some folk (or ethno) music is special to me, blues, rock, even some metal bands (and also, pop...or the best DJ's stuff...or Enya's...) music, plus funk, soul, jazz...or the mix of these. Good grooves and lots of energy or relaxation in music, as it reaches your soul so easily.
I notice sounds wherever I go, I like exploring any art.

Books...yes, libraries and bookstores are places where I enter and "suddenly" I am told they are about to close. :)
I love reading quality newspapers and writing.

Films can also be a treat: good ones have an impact on me maybe for days after having watched them.
Based on reality, life stories, psychological/spiritual stuff or about nature/mother Earth, all I find interesting.

I enjoy humour in arts very much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Memories from my travels (Europe, North America, a bit of Africa and Asia) may surface when appropriate. Lets keep these stories for the times we meet! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

It's great if you can put emphasis on sharing the good things from what you experience, creating good vibes, so that everyone enjoys your company more. What a chance that you can do so!
Everything happens for a reason, in order to help you move on in your journey.
There is little that is really needed in life to feel well and be happy. (Tunnels are there, but they end, too.)

Enjoy living the (couchsurfing) moment.

I'm learning all the time. Skills? For example, I like assisting good cooks. :)
Have worked in many places and areas of life, some skills must be there, haha.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Facts, customs and traditions (history!) etc. of my country and its people -- plus knowledge about various languages and other cultures besides Hungarian. Topics as sports, music, history etc.
