my name is André and I come from Austria.
I love science (biology, chemistry, astronomy,...) and getting to know friendly new people and different cultures. Other than that I love boxing, free- and scuba diving and climbing.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Why I signed in on Couchsurfing was because I love traveling but have a small budget for expensive accommodations. Other than that, Couchsurfing is the best way to enjoy the culture a country has to offer and getting to know new people.

兴趣

As written before I love scuba- and free diving and enjoy boxing lessons regularly. I do not go running often but when I get the chance I do also enjoy it very much other than that I am very interested to try out many different sports considered being extreme such as base jumping, paragliding, diving with sharks (without cages), etc...
I am very interested in science and I love everything that has to do with nature. I am more of the explorer type and I love traveling, especially adventure/extreme traveling. Exploring places only the most courageous would set foot on and being able to take beautiful pictures. Other than that I also want to know more about the details of the places I visit, which means getting to know the real culture and ways of living in the country I am visiting.

音乐、电影和书籍

I currently love listening to the weeknd and usually listen to all kinds of music.
My favorite movies include the martian, the perks of being a wallflower and all kinds of animation movies.
Series I currently like are the 100, prison break, breaking bad, the walking dead, the big bang theory and so on...
I do not read books that often anymore because I do not have the time but when I did I enjoyed Maze Runner and books by Jules Verne.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Swimming with dolphins. Going to Vietnam for a month (long story and my favourite country so far). Not much but there is still a lot of space, huh?

I don´t know what this means but I am a fast learner when it comes to doing something myself and trying things out on my own. In my opinion figuring things out on your own and making mistakes is one great way to learn.
Sadly I can´t concentrate on studying from a book too long and studying by book takes me twice as long than for others.
