I'm a deeply happy, with a high physical energy, and a gentle soul. I am an extrovert and am naturally drawn into entertainment and people.

I grew up living a nomadic childhood with my family. I have lived most of my life between Canada and England but Canada is my home... and where my family all live.

I love life and the incredible freedom of choice which I am so utterly lucky to have.

I love so many great people who I have met in life, and I continue to meet great people, like yourself, maybe we'll meet soon too.

Positivity is my mantra and a big part of who I am.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I read the book "1000 Days of Spring" which instantly inspired me to sign up here, host people and stay with people around the world... I mean, what a great concept!

Movies: I don't watch many... but to name a few I enjoy: "La Vita Bella" (Life is Beautiful), Cinema Paradiso, The Pianist, Gladiator, Sing, Emperors New Groove, Hero, Love Actually.

Books... recently I read Terry Pratchett and Stephen Baxter, The Long earth.
Bill Bryson A short History of everything, thinking slow and fast, The organised mind. So a mixture of fiction, fact and psychology.

Music, hard to narrow down. I just listened to Emmylou Harris, Van Morrison, Bob Marley, Humble Pie, and Bruce Springsteen.
