Travelling for me is beauty, excitement, the delicious food(and drinks) and the fantastic people I encounter along the way! It brings new knowledge and pure joy! Meeting actual people who knows their way around the place, is the best way of travel, I believe!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet real people and see real stuff. See the things I would'nt see and have the talks I would'nt talk, if I never left the LP-track. Hopefully catching the hidden treasures the guidebooks do not know, and shouldn't know. And it's definetly the best way of living whilst on the road! I host, not only to pay it forward, but to get a small taste of these travel-beneficial effects, even when I'm at home! I love showing my beautiful country and lovely city to others, and seeing it for myself. Due to my interests, I know my way around the place quite well, since I'm travelling alot around to enjoy nature(ps, Norway is a lot about nature. Its stunning). After many years in Oslo I'm starting to have good knowledge about the hidden treasures around town, and to my excitement I still find new ones all the time. I love "my Oslo" and its a pleasure to show you what it is all about. In this way, hopefully I'll discover Oslo and Norway in new ways, or seing the same places with new eyes..

Interests

I'm a bit "outdoorsy" and my favorite activities are hiking and roadtrippin around Norway in my car. Usually combined with activities such as rock- and iceclimbing, alpine trekking, alpine- and crosscountry skiing, snow- and kitesurfing, swimming and diving, or just chilling out in my hammock or on a white sandy beach (oh yes, we have them in Norway as well!). With the car and camping gear along, I am an expert on keeping costs low, if needed.

In Oslo I do what most people do; hang around with friends and do what friends do: Wine and dine, hang out in parks and beaches during summer, and restaurants during winters. I love good food and good drinks - together with great people, its my "recipe for happiness".
